About the Emyra Christmas Energy Initiative

The Emyra Christmas Energy Initiative is a UK-wide social programme designed to bring warmth, stability and lower energy costs to families and community organisations through fully funded clean energy systems.

Through this campaign, Emyra will provide complete clean-energy packages to three UK families and a custom solar PV system to one UK community centre or social institution.

Participation is free. No purchase or contract is required. All installations comply with UK renewable installation regulations, health and safety standards and UK GDPR.

Follow these simple steps to submit your application

Decide whether you are applying for the Family Award or Community Award.

2. Complete the Online Application Form

Provide contact details, property/organisation information and a short explanation of why support is needed and the potential impact.

3. Submit Before the Deadline

Applications must be submitted by 20 December 2025, 23:59 GMT.

4. Wait for Confirmation

Applicants will receive confirmation that their application has been received. Shortlisted applicants may be contacted for additional information or a site survey.

Who Can Apply

Families – Eligibility

Category A

Resident in the UK

Applicant aged 18 or over and primary decision-maker in the household

Property located in the UK and suitable for solar and heat pump installation (roof condition, orientation, access etc.)

Applicant is the property owner or has written permission from the owner/landlord for installation if selected

Willing to allow a technical site survey if shortlisted

Agrees to provide accurate information and verification documents if requested

Community Centres – Eligibility

Category B

UK-registered organisation (charity, CIC, non-profit, or community-focused institution)

Owns the building or has long-term rights and written permission for a rooftop solar installation

Serves a vulnerable or broad community (e.g. community centre, shelter, social care facility, educational or health-related community space)

Able to accommodate a 30–50 kW solar PV system (roof size / structure to be confirmed by technical survey)

Agrees to provide organisational and property documentation if requested
